Take Time Out for Some Sips and Holiday Cheer at Evil Horse Brewing Co.
By Carrie Steinweg published December 05, 2024
We’re now in the thick of the holiday season. While it’s a time of joy and festivities, it’s a busy time that can leave you feeling drained. Be sure to take some time to kick back and soak in the spirit of the season - with some calm and bright time sipping on brews at Evil Horse Brewing Co. in Crete.
This brewery is situated in a historic downtown building constructed in 1911. Over the years it has served as a grain and feed business, a dance hall, roller rink, auto repair business, barbershop, restaurant and a bowling alley. In 2016, the first floor became the home of Evil Horse Brewing Co.
It’s a cozy spot to unwind among the holiday hustle and bustle and enjoy one of their own award-winning brews or several guest beers on tap.
In the month of December, they have a number of entertaining holiday-themed events, including holiday bingo, a Santa visit, gingerbread making workshop, holiday trivia, A Very Evil Holiday Party and Lighting of the Keg Tree, in addition to live music nights, a pinball tournament and other events.
